Flavoring

An abstract and almost absurd science experiment presented on two screens. The control group shows a tea bag diffusing and tinting the water in the bowl while the experimental group displays a tea bag being tossed and dragged in an attempt to flavor the ocean.

Thunderstorm

Lightning is gradually slowed from its original form, a split second occurrence to a drawn-out spectacle. The lightening transforms night into day and illuminates Coney Island's empty streets and alleys with fluorescent light.

Negotiating Space

A day spent without contact or nourishment exploring a decrepit hangar at an old defunct airport. Investigation performed through improvisational movement and sound.

Food &TV

A collaborative piece with Emilie Stark-Menneg created in response to theories of Fauvism and Gramsci.

Luna Park

Movement based on pencil drawn gestures derived from the elements of a burned down house. The created sequence was performed at Luna Park, one of many Brooklyn projects with an unknown future due to gentrification. The performance was then projected onto a wall adorned with various props and more improvised movement and documented a final time.

Metal Detector

A ten-minute short film about a man going through the trials of life with an innocent desire to possess a metal detector.

Aquarium

Performance addresses our distracted and often morose existence in systemized housing. Windows are a ceaseless reproduction of geometry, which hold the soft oyster bodies of humanity.
